Animal ingredients in through the back door

Vegans should be aware that fruit juices are often clarified using animal gelatine, which does not have to be declared on the label. Therefore it may be better to make your own fresh juices at home using an electric juicer. Hidden animal ingredients may also be found in potato crisps and other convenience foods.

If you are unsure, it might be better to avoid some products on the supermarket shelves.
